We have three modes of operation:
1. Home Demonstration
We decided not to have a retail shop. We made this decision because we feel that you really need to experience the electrically assisted bike for yourself. You can’t do this in a shop.  We operate by giving free demonstrations at your home, so you can try before you buy. We arrive with fully assembled and tested bikes and with the battery already charged. There’s no obligation and no call out fee within a radius of 20km from the Perth CBD – buy it or leave it – it’s up to you. E-mail or phone (see Contact) now for a demonstration.
2. Direct Mail Out
For those living outside the Perth Metropolitan area we send a bike to you with no mail out fee. The bike arrives as it does from the parent company 90% assembled and with a small tool kit. You carefully unpack it and follow instructions to complete assembly. For any final adjusting of the brakes however we recommend that you take it to any bike shop who will of course charge a small fee. Before you are able to ride the bike with electrical assistance you’ll need to give the battery an 8 hour charge. NOTE however that charging for more than 12 hours may damage the battery.
3. Fairs and Markets Alternative Futures goes to Fairs and Markets where you may try an electric bicycle. Please check the “News” section for the Calendar. If you want to see a particular bike then do call me the previous day so I can confirm we will have it for you.
